Do you have proven warehouse procedure knowledge? Are you motivated by supporting and leading a team, and keen to deliver great results? We have a fantastic opportunity for driven individual to join an expanding and lively business in Bordon as the Assistant Warehouse Manager.

Supporting the warehouse manager, you will be responsible for a team of warehouse operatives and supervisors in a vibrant and busy warehouse.

You will be:

  • Managing a team of supervisors and operatives
  • Responsible for ensuring that the team is trained and motivated
  • Keep up to date with current health and safety compliance
  • Enforcing and upkeeping safety regulations
  • Ensuring processes are followed consistently
  • Handling probations, appraisals, and incident reporting
  • Creating reports and using KPIs

Key skills:

  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance
  • People management experience, including shift planning
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

There is free parking available on site, and free transport is available from central Alton.

You will be working 9am-6pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am-5pm on Fridays, with great benefits package including 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and excellent staff discounts.
